How to Use DataTennis on Android
From getting started with score recording to settings and stats, here are the basics for the Android app.
After Installation
When you open the app, you'll see a list of matches. Navigate to the scoring screen to record match scores.
Recording Scores

Tap the winner of the point.
- Tap the details of the point.
- For faults: Tap "Fault" and record the content of the 2nd serve.
- For double faults: Tap "Fault" twice.
Score Display
- After recording scores, the content is displayed in the points column for side A and side B.
- Faults are displayed as "F," and double faults as "DBF."
Changing Settings

You can change settings such as match format and player names on the settings screen.
Settings can be modified even after scoring starts, but options such as "1st Server" cannot be changed during a match in progress. Use undo to revert points before changing those settings.
Forehand-Backhand Mode
In this mode, you categorize points as forehand or backhand when recording.
Example: After a stroke winner, select "Forehand" to record it as "StWf."
Deuce Settings
You can configure deuce, no-ad, and semi-ad settings.
- Deuce: Game decided with a 2-point lead after 40-40.
- No-Ad: Game decided on the next point after 40-40.
- Semi-Ad: Game decided on the next point after the second 40-40.
Singles and Doubles Mode
In doubles mode, you can set four player names and the serving order.
- 1st Server B: Player B1
- 1st Server A: Player A2
- Order: B1 → A2 → B2 → A1
Match Formats
You can configure the following formats:
- 1/3/5 Set Match
- 3/4/6/8 Games Ahead
- 8 Game Match
- 6 Game 3 Set Match (10-Point Tiebreak)
- 4 Game 3 Set Match (10-Point Tiebreak)
- 7/10 Point Tiebreak
Adding a Match

You can add a new match by tapping the "+" button on the match list screen.
Stats

You can view match statistics on the stats screen.
- Serve points won
- Point win rate while serving
- Receive points won
- Point win rate while receiving
- Total points won
- Point win rate across all points
- Consecutive points won
- Number of points won in a row
- Consecutive points lost
- Number of points lost in a row
Score List

You can view scores in a list to check the match flow and the details of each point.
